I know I must say good-bye
As I think of the things we use to do
Day by Day sometimes we smiled,
Sometimes we wept unseen tears,
We just kept it to ourselves and laughed.
As I think of each happy and joyous time we shared
I know God has planned a richer life for you.
Beyond the unseen shore, I know I must say good-bye.
